Greetings from a GW2 player! I accidently ran into one of the events that were held today at Auric Basin which turned into a great and fun success for my part

I had never before seen so many people cooperating in GW2 so I got intrigued about this community that also was advertised in the chat and here I am.

About myself: A very casual PvE Guardian with no clue about the effeciency meta or how to best play a character which means I have mediocre armor sets and weapons but so far I've managed to play this game without even having to think much about that. And let's not talk about skills because I just randomly spam them but I guess a little bit of direction wouldn't hurt.

Atm I'm just trying to get a full Berserker Heavy armor set and complete my Personal Story quests in the Maguuma Jungle.

I hope to catch you in more events hopefully and learn a thing or two about how to actually play this great game!

If you liked the Auric Basin event, you should join us doing Triple Trouble sometime, it's an even bigger event

I will try to attend! Do you have an ingame guild that I can join or is it only web based?

Aha, there is actually several guilds to join. Have a look at the guilds page to find out which one suits you best. 

 

These events are organised through the Teamspeak (ts.gw2oc.org, no password), usually there are officers online who will -no doubt- be happy to pass you an invite to a guild.
