untilThe Three-Headed Great Jungle Wurm terrorizes the jungle! But we're ready to terrorize it back! The Vigil Crusaders are ready and waiting for the armies of Tyrian heroes to march into the Wurm's domain and slay the giant creature. The Triple Trouble event is a fast-paced, high-intensity event where three teams must coordinate their efforts to slay the three heads of the Wurm at the same time. Due to the large number of split-second decisions, TeamSpeak is required. No experience with the event is required, all tactics & mechanics are explained beforehand.

untilCome celebrate OpenCommunity's 3rd birthday and join us on the Tipsy Triple Trouble! The commanders will be given a list of banned words - such as dodge, stack, might, as well as wurm-specific ones like kegs, colors, abomination, and also a few words nominated by you tailored specifically for each commander! They must do full dry runs and command the events successfully without using any of the banned words! If they slip up, or accidentally swear (which is breaking the community guidelines ), their punishment is to drink! You can play along if you are of legal drinking age! The goal is to still succeed in the event and have a lot of fun doing it! Please drink responsibly, have lots of water after the evening, and don't drink if you have to drive somewhere! May 1st marks OpenCommunity's third birthday! Running for 3 years, we've certainly had our fill of ups, downs, and everything in between! Together, we've organized over 2200 events and the time has flown by so quickly, and we've certainly had an exciting time running all those events, hanging out, and of course making a change for the better in the world! We'll be celebrating our birthday in GW2, marking the day with a Tipsy Triple Trouble on the regular TT timeslot, and then having a 2-day party on Saturday and Sunday! Here's saying goodbye to an amazing 3rd year, and greeting a 4th year full of amazing opportunities!

The forms on our website have started misbehaving. We are aware of several issues of forms not correctly reporting they were sent. The forms are actually submitted once told to do so, but the user does not always get a confirmation that they were. We're working on a fix ^^

Hello everyone! Today, we wanted to share a little something we came up with to thank the artists that have contributed to the community so far, as well as something to reward future contributors with! The Contributor badge! This badge has been awarded to our past contributors, @Ipos, @Wolfie and @Atila, and will be given to future contributors to the community, who devote their time creating either official OC artwork for use on the website, TS, and our other platforms, or artwork for OC supporters! Want to help out the community and receive this badge? We are looking for artists to create artwork for future supporters in the new supporter set! Message @Lelling on the forums for details if you'd like to help out ^^

Welcome to the community ^^ We do schedule full clear runs on our open raids, but a spot for those is not guaranteed every time, so I would suggest looking into joining a static group, which is something we also do at OC We currently have one that is being built, so you could try to join it. Contact someone from the raid team on our Raider Discord, or our Raid Team Manager @Viridian on the forums; she'll be able to give you the best advice

We used to have a calendar for regular events and one for one-off events, however, it proved that having calendars by content accessibility rather than recurrence frequency worked better for most people. Following the calendar works like following any forum, thread, or database - a notification is sent whenever new content (such as a new event) is posted. The notification can be set to either be a notification through the website, or through e-mail, in the notification settings. This feature is most useful for one-time events, since technically each repeatable event is only created once - when it's added to the calendar. This means you would, for example, get a single notification if a new Triple Trouble was scheduled to happen every week on Tuesdays, the first time it would be scheduled. That way, you can immediately take note of events you're interested in, whether they are one-time or recurring, and ignore the rest.
-
Oh yeah, when it comes to exporting the calendar, there unfortunately isn't much that can be done. Copying over the other events would indeed not be a suitable solution to the issue while maintaining functionality. The only solution I see would be to put Triple Trouble on its own calendar - but as we plan to have more regular every-day events, this is not a feasible solution either.
-
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to filter out one specific event, however, since a recurring event is only posted once, if you follow the Core Tyria calendar, this will mean you will only get announcements for Triple Trouble very rarely, in cases of it being rescheduled on the calendar. The bulk of the announcements will be for one-time Core Tyria events. You can set your notifications to arrive either as notifications on the website or via e-mail, and can simply ignore the TT ones ^^

untilOne of the ways in which we can help Gamers Giving Back is that we can do some quick guild missions to help [GGB] grow! We will be doing PvE guild missions, which this week include a Challenge, a Bounty and two Races. Since [GGB] does not have all of its missions unlocked, it will only be four! Recommended: A level 80 character with map completion
